Pray about things

As part of my “car stuff” job I got a shift driving a hospital shuttle last week. I turned on the radio and a passenger asked me “So, you like classical music?” We had a great conversation about her daughters and music. At the garage, however, everyone listens to hip hop. Some of the music is pretty bad. There’s a lot of garbage in today’s mainstream hip hop and rnb. I once changed the radio station, and the one we call “white boy” snorted in disgust and changed it back.

I really like shuttling at the hospital. Not only is it a lot easier to do, but I also have opportunities to talk with the passengers. So I asked God for more shifts. And God almighty, merciful and sovereign, provided. God cares for his children regarding every little thing. See 1 Peter 5:7. Isn’t it amazing how God tells us to care and be kind to other people because he himself is kind? All good things are a shadow of God’s goodness. Thank You for grace.

“This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him.” 1 John 5:14-15

“With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints.” Ephesians 6:18

Just an encouragement to pray for everything and all the saints. You can see God’s grace expressed through prayers.
